Air Purifiers
Air Purifiers
Air purifiers improve the air quality of your home or office, removing airborne particles and neutralizing unwanted odors. They do this by using a fan to draw air in, passing it through a filter to trap particles, and then releasing the now cleaner air back into the environment. The filters can be made from a variety of materials, such as activated charcoal, which is effective at absorbing odors and other pollutants. Air purifiers are beneficial for people with respiratory conditions, as well as those who live with pets or smokers. They can also mitigate the transmission of viruses in high-traffic areas and polluted environments. A well-operated purifier keeps you healthy and breathing easy.
Purifier Effectiveness
Air purifiers require routine attention and filters play a key role in the effectiveness of your purifier. If you’ve been using the same filter for years, your purifier is not catching the irritants and odors that circulate in the air. When a filter becomes saturated, particles will be able to pass through it, returning to the air. Dirty filters restrict air flow through the purifier, which can result in damage to the purifier’s motor. If your air purifier filter is dirty, you’re not receiving all of the benefits that an air purifier provides.
If you want to keep your air purifier running smoothly, replace your air purifier filter every 3-6 months. Filters may need to be replaced more frequently in high-traffic areas and during or after home renovations.
