Important Note: Almost ALL furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. It's best if you measure your air filter for the EXACT size and compare it to our "Actual Size" - and then you can be sure your A/C air filter fits! With the 4" and 5" air filters there is a wider variance between the nominal and actual size depending on the manufacturer. We also carry 4 3/8 and 4 7/8 inch depth filters, this is why we ask you to compare the exact dimensions.
Nordic Pure 16x25x5 1/4 Goodman/Carrier/Amana Replacement MERV 12 air filters are unique because of the actual size of the filter compared to the nominal size. Typically, a 5” filter is actually a fraction of an inch smaller, while these filters are larger at 5 1/4”. Other commonly known systems that use this filter size are Amana, Five Seasons, and Totaline. Please note that these name brands are not a comprehensive list; you may have a different system with the same measurements, so always measure your filter’s housing to ensure you order the proper fit.
