The effective life of your air filter depends on both the inside and outside conditions of the environment in which the filter is being used. EXACT MEASUREMENT: Furnace and air condition filters have an actual size that is a fraction of an inch smaller in length and width than the listed air filter size. For example, a 20x30x1 air filter is actually 19 ½ x 29 ½ x ¾. Please use a tape measure to get the actual size of your current air filter when ordering custom sizes. You might check the actual sizes of our other air filters to make sure a standard size air filter wouldn't work for you. The actual width and length of the air filter should be within 1/8 of an inch-if not, order a custom size air filter.
CONSTRUCTION: Custom air filters are made by cutting down or combining 1, 2 or 3 A/C air filter frames. Depending on the size we may use tape to make your custom size air filters. So, they might not be pretty, but they WILL be strong.
